The Soldier's Shadow (COMING SOON...)
About
In 1970, Michael Bradley is a 21-year-old soldier thrust into the unforgiving jungles of Vietnam, fighting with the 101st Airborne Division at Firebase Ripcord. Half a world away and decades later, his son Max—also 21—chases his dreams in the electric haze of Los Angeles, surrounded by rockstars, bright lights, yet haunted by the ghosts of a fractured past.
Told in two parallel timelines, The Soldier’s Shadow weaves the harrowing experience of combat with the generational ripple effects of trauma. As Max escapes the gravity of home, Michael returns from war with wounds no one can see—trapped in a time when post-traumatic stress was barely understood. Their lives remain divided by silence and pain until, years later, fate brings them together once more.
What follows is a moving story of reconciliation and revelation, as a father finally finds the courage to speak, and a son discovers what it means to listen. At its heart, The Soldier’s Shadow is about family, faith, and the enduring effects of war—not just on the ones who fight it, but on everyone who loves them.
